Venus is a networking business, however, we also provide powerful and real training and development solutions for New Zealand women in business via the Venus Training Academy.
We set out to build a business network that was different; a supportive, environment where women feel inspired to grow and achieve amongst like-minded women all committed to succeed. A network where we partner with our members and help them grow themselves and their businesses. The charitable purpose of the company is to provide for the advancement, promotion, development and resourcing of education for businesswomen.
We run our networking groups alongside the Venus Academy which is the training and development arm of the business. As women, we provide one another with a safe and friendly environment to learn and grow both personally and as businesswomen as well. Our vision is to be the one stop shop for businesswomen in NZ no matter where they are on their journey.
We use the network to support the network. Supporting women in business is important. It does so by bringing money and balance into households while allowing women the freedom to maintain a career that leaves them feeling fulfilled.
It encourages a balanced home environment where equality is nurtured and valued, where high performance and independence is inspired and where both critical and creative thinking skills are developed. Historically, women have been underrepresented when it comes to business ownership, but they are creative and efficient, and their ability to think laterally is often what makes them successful. There are other skills that women bring to roles naturally β we are more inclined to be nurturing, supportive and driven by ethics and intuition.
