Working with the Community Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Electronics Surveillance Unit, troopers arrested nine women and seven men, according to a police report. The sting operation involved police using social media to set up meetings in the Clifton Park Area, according to troopers. Adams, 19, of Schenectady; Christa L. Brown, 20, of Troy; Sarah Z. Hewitt, 37, of Watervliet; Warren L. Lashway, 47, of Nassau; Shawn C. Palson, 55, of Round Top; Jonas J. Penrose, 39, of Queensbury, and Richard S. Wible, 47, of Vineland, New Jersey. In addition to prostitution, Adams and Henderson were also charged with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, troopers said. Davis was also arrested on an active warrant from Hudson Falls Police Department.
